Plenty of Middle-Eastern restaurants on Chiswick High Road, and this is one I’d not recommend based on dining there once. If you’re looking for good Lebanese dining – as opposed to a pleasant restaurant essentially serving kebab-calibre fayre, then perhaps Shams is not the place for dinner tonight.

Artisan Coffee School – SCAE Acredited Coffee Course Comes to West London
As well as being a great introduction to coffee newbies, I’d say this course is excellent for someone who knows a bit about coffee already. Alessandro dived straight into some more advanced concepts and I was instantly interested in everything he had to talk about.
Jackson & Rye
Jackson & Rye caused quite a stir when the opened up on the high road. Six months on, does it justify the hype?
Butcher’s Hook, W6
A solid pub with decent gastro food, an interesting wine list, and very attentive service
Pho, Chiswick High Road
Great Vietnamese street food, stylish interior and food, really great fresh flavours, attentive staff. A winning formula, and one that will work in Chiswick.
Vinoteca, Devonshire Road
Vinoteca is a buzzing, cosy wine bar in the heart of Chiswick’s “indie quarter”, the lovely Devonshire Road. If you enjoy exploring wines from around the world, or if you are looking for a chic grown-up wine bar to savour a long chat with friends over a decent bottle, then you won’t go wrong here.
Quantus Restaurant, Devonshire Road
Voted one of “Top 25 most romantic restaurants in the UK” by diners on the TopTable restaurant, Quantus in Chiswick is a smart-casual, highly affordable fine dining restaurant in Devonshire Road serving a delicious eclectic cuisine with a South American influence.
Tosa, Ravenscourt Park
Underwhelmed by the quality of the food, and overwhelmed by the price. There are a number of far superior sushi joints within 10 minutes walking distance. Try Minato a few minutes walk towards Hammersmith, or the lovely, tiny, family-run Makato on Devonshire Road.
Outsider Tart, Chiswick High Road
If you’ve lived in Chiswick for a while but haven’t made a visit, then you are missing out. People come from far and wide to grab a slice of the atmosphere – and a piece of authentic American cake bake.
